Come spend a Weekend with us in Nashville, Tennessee

We weren't doing much for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend so my sister suggested we head to Tennessee: I had been to Tennessee a number of times but this time was different. Filled with a part of the South we don’t hear as much about going to places with a bit more Southern soul. 

Saddle up, we’re going for a ride. Join us as we take a quick 3 hour ride  from Atlanta to Nashville, also known as, “Music City”

Day 1: Let the Adventure Begin!  

No road trip is complete without a pit stop at Buc-ee's—get ready to stock up on snacks, grab some souvenirs, and feel the road-trip energy! When we arrived we dropped our bags at Waymore's Guest House (Highly Recommend) Then, it’s time to dive deep into Nashville’s musical roots with a visit to the National Museum of African American Music—prepare to be amazed as we explore the stories behind the sounds that shaped the world.

For dinner, we’ll head to Assembly Food Hall—a lively spot with a variety of mouthwatering options that are perfect for fueling up after a day of exploration. We Choose to eat at Princes Chicken (Black Owned). And then, brace yourself for an experience like no other: we’re stopping by Goo Goo Clusters for an iconic candy-making session. You’ll leave with a sweet treat you’ll never forget!

Day 2: Relax, Explore, and Indulge!  

Sleep in and enjoy some much-needed hotel relaxation before we get ready for an epic Sunday dinner at Monell’s. Trust us, it’s totally worth the wait! This cozy spot serves up mouthwatering Southern comfort food family-style, and we’re in for a treat. We’ll be sitting at a table with a warm, friendly family of eight—between them and the amazing staff, we’ll be treated like family, too.

Day 3: Rise and Shine for the Sweetest Start!  

We’re waking up early to indulge in the unique Donut Distillery, where the donuts are infused with all sorts of creative, tasty flavors. After satisfying our sweet tooth, we’ll head over to Snooze for a deliciously proper breakfast—because you can never have too much of a good thing!

The Grand Finale: Whiskey & History  

Before heading home, we’ll make a final stop at the Uncle Nearest Distillery, where we’ll uncover the fascinating history of this legendary whiskey. Of course, we’ll enjoy a few libations along the way as we toast to an unforgettable trip!
